Integration ist die Einbindung in soziale Zusammenhänge und Gruppen. Integration kann als kriminalpräventive Maßnahme verstanden werden, da mit der Integration eine hohe Sozialkontrolle und auch eine gewisse Selbstkontrolle verbunden sind. Das Gegenteil, die Desintegration, bezeichnet ein soziales Phänomen der Verunsicherung aufgrund mangelnder Anerkennung und Statusbenachteiligung beispielsweise (aber nicht nur) auf dem Ausbildungs- und Arbeitsmarkt. Desorientierung gilt als möglicher Einflussfaktor beim Entstehen von Delinquenz.

Integration is the bonding in social connections and groups. Integration can be understood as crime preventive measures, since with integration, a high level of social control and also a certain level of self control are linked. The opposite – disintegration – refers to a social trend of uncertainty due to a lack of recognition, and status discrimination, for example (but not only) in the educational and working world.
